On August, 21, 2023, Anna Nesterova, the Chairperson of BRICS WBA Russia Chapter had a meeting with Dilma Rousseff, President of the New Development Bank, on the sidelines of the XV BRICS Summit.

Anna Nesterova spoke about the Alliance's activity, its main achievements and projects in 2023, as well as about the plans for 2024, the year of the Russia presidency in the BRICS.

The Russian Chairperson noted that BRICS WBA paid the special attention to expanding the financial opportunities for women entrepreneurs, as well as increasing the availability of financial resources and tools.

Chairperson of BRICS WBA Russia Chapter and President of New Development Bank discussed supporting of women entrepreneurship and financing of projects developed by women within the BRICS WBA, as well as the possible expansion of financial tools.

Following the meeting, the sides expressed hope for future cooperation.
