On October 18, 2023, the Third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation is being held in Beijing. The event takes place at the Great Hall of the People in Tiananmen Square.

Anna Nesterova, Chairperson of the BRICS WBA Russia Chapter, participated in the official opening ceremony of the Forum.

The main theme of the event is quality joint construction of the "Belt and Road" and collaborative efforts to achieve common development and prosperity.

The Forum is attended by representatives of more than 140 countries and 30 international organizations, including government leaders, heads of international organizations, ministerial level officials, and representatives of the business community, according to official sources.

In particular, the invitation to participate in the Forum was accepted by Russian President Vladimir Putin, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, Indonesian President Joko Widodo, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Papua New Guinea Prime Minister James Marape, Congolese President Denis Sassou Nguesso, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet, Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe and others.
