On June 9, 2023, BRICS Women's Business Alliance delegation visited the headquarters of Gree Electric Appliances, Inc., located in Zhuhai. The company is the largest manufacturer of all kinds of air conditioners in China.

After another series of B2B meetings in Zhuhai, a delegation from the five BRICS countries went to the Gree Electric Appliances office. At the headquarters, visitors were told about the company's history of the establishment and development since 1991. Besides, the entrepreneurs conducted a tour to the headquarters and factories, seeing the production processes, including modern high-performance and automated equipment.

The delegation members learned that the company produces about 60 million air conditioners a year, as well as that the company's activities are aimed at protecting the environment and economical use of electricity.

In addition to nine factories, the company has its own research center, which develops new models of equipment, taking into account the customers' requirements.

It should be noted that Dong Mingzhu, the Chairperson of the Board of Directors and President of Gree Electric Appliances, is a member of BRICS WBA China Chapter.
